Aspire to the Stars v.13 .:. kingdom of heaven

v.11 .:. second star
v.13 : kingdom of heaven
Yes, I know, another Orlando layout. Well, I have to say, my interest hasn't flagged..yet. It's the Dirty!Man!Knight! version, in honor of Orli's first leading role in Kingdom of Heaven. Font is ChazHand demo, color dodge, Brighteststar brushes (I wish I knew who made those) and someone else's that I'll remember in a bit. Pictures are from the "modern" trailer and publicity stills, courtesy of the great folks at elflady's orlando love. (May 2005)

Past Layouts:

v.12 .:. music of the night
v.12 : music of the night
This layout was up for a very brief time, in the history of ATTS layouts. Only up from January to May, and kind of an impulse decision at that. I'd just seen the Phantom movie and loved it, and decided it was time for a change, so I changed it. Very dark and somewhat weird to see every day at work. Font is Porcelain and the pictures were scanned by me from the special edition PotO soundtrack. (January 2005)

v.11 .:. second star
v.11 : second star
So last time I said I couldn't get away from Orlando layouts...this time I just had to make a Peter Pan layout, in honor of discovering how good the movie was (and the book, and that Jeremy Sumpter is too cute for words and another member of my 'ignore the age gap' guy group. You may not think it, but the image was heavily manipulated so Peter actually has hair instead of a big white slash across his forehead (see?) and so aside from the crazy job of recoding most of the site, the layout itself took quite a while. Star brushes are all from Thia.(November 2004)

v.10 .:. ilium
v.10 : ilium
I just can't seem to get away from Orlando Bloom-themed layouts...that's not a bad thing for me ;) This layout features pictures from the movie Troy, starring OB as everyone's favorite antihero, Paris. I don't care if he's a wimp; he's a damn fine looking coward regardless. Figured I had to put some Helen pics in there and there is a shot of Hector and Achilles too, just for fun. This layout is also the first to feature a separate layout for the archives. Fonts are tsp machina 2, manson, and hannibal lecter. All pictures are from the official Troy site. (May 2004)

v.9 .:. return of the king
v.9 : return of the king
This is a tribute layout to the Return of the King premiere, December 17, 2003. I was originally going to have the picture of Gandalf be the main one, but then I rediscovered the RotK trailer and had to cap the whole thing. There's the great big Legolas-and-his-bow, of course, and a token Frodo and Aragorn as it's all about *his* return, a shot of Minas Tirith, Eowyn, Gandalf riding to Gondor through the trees, Lego and Aragorn at Meduseld, and Lego and Aragorn at the Paths of the Dead. Did you catch that one? Fonts are Ringbearer and Georgia. Once again, color dodge is my friend, and outerglow rocks my socks. (December 2003)

v.8 .:. lyric
v.8 : lyric

I'd originally intended to do a John Mayer layout, somthing with him on stage with backlight, with some of his lyrics to the side. I wasn't able to look for pictures of JM when I made this, though, so it ended up just being lyrics from songs I like. Most of the lyrics are from JM's album Room for Squares: "3x5," "Why Georgia," "Back to You," and "Love Song for No One." Also making an appearance are lyrics from Switchfoot's album The Beautiful Letdown: "This is Your Life" and "Dare You to Move." The more astute among you might notice Ricky Martin's "Gracias Pour Pensar En Mí," from his album Vuelve. "Your Song" from either Elton John or Moulin Rouge makes an appearance--did you catch it? And last but certainly not least..."No Day But Today" from the musical RENT. Font is Georgia. Difference Clouds PS plugin. (July 2003)

v.7 .:. taste the rainbow
v7.0 - taste the rainbow
So I had the original idea to make a blend of Orli faces from paint swatches, but that didn't work. So you get the blend you see before you, and a rather messed up site for a few days as I thought about changing everything to php. which I didn't end up doing as you can tell. Anyway. Pictures from Orlando J-Web, E-blooming.net, Orlandomultimedia.net and The Orlando Bloom Files. Font is Caesar, color dodge is my new friend.

v.6 .:. vanya elda
v.6-vanya elda
vanya elda means 'elven fair' in sindarin (correct me if I'm wrong). I just felt the urge to make a blend of Legolas images from TTT and the RotK calendar image, and needed something that sounded cool. There are a couple of brushes used, mainly some default PS brushes, but I can't for the life of me remember who made the swirly one. I'm sorry. Don't hurt me, please? Font is Ringbearer. Pics from council-of-elrond.com, coming-soon.net, and theonering.net.

v.5.0 .:. ghetto elf
v5.0-ghetto elf
This picture is one of the thousands from the still galleries on the extended version dvd of Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring. I saw it and I had to use it. It's Legolas...but not. I love anachronism. Absolutely no brushes whatsoever. Very simple, somewhat refreshing. Font is Emancipation.

v.4.0 the two towers
v4.0
This layout is my homage to the wonderful piece of filmmaking  that was the Two Towers trailer. I wish there had been more room for Legolas' beautiful face on this one (I think I like v3 better) but this one took me long enough that I decided it was worth it. It's green, duh, I'm Calenhíril, the Green Lady! Pictures were capped by me from the trailer, thank God for DSL at work. More layers and unapologetic use of the first LotR logo. Brushes by nocturna and angelic-trust.net.

v.3 .:. guardian of the forest
v 3.0- Guardian of the Forest
This layout took a surprisingly long time to finish, so I almost didn't put it up. But so many friends of mine had changed their layouts so many times that I decided that I had to change it. Not too much of a change, though. From Orlando Bloom to Legolas, in honor of the Fellowship of the Ring coming out on video. It was inspired by Serendipity, so much so that I hope she doesn't hurt me. And it was my first foray into layers, thanks to moll. See what you got me into? Pictures: forest scene from tony stone, Legolas picture from edalië, brushes by relique.

v.orli
When I finally got tired of the relatively generic template that came with greymatter I decided to make an Orlando Bloom layout. I realize I was behind the times as most people had made their Orli layouts weeks before, but I do things on my own time :)

v.one
I used a template that only had one image, and that was a good thing, cause I didn't have a clue about greymatter. It used to be an image of skylights, but I tried to make it a little unique :)
