Joyous Solstice

Enjoy your summer.

Yes, I know I'm a few hours late. I was helping my parents get ready for a neighborhood garage sale. Fun!

Seriously, though, tomorrow I'm hitting Missouri Bakery (which you'd have to look up as Missouri Baking Co.) and falling in love with their strawberry tarts and apple cream cheese tarts. I love summer, heat and humidity and all.

The title describes the day as well as the picture. Those are my del.icio.us tags. Get your own pretty tag cloud from your del.icio.us tags or your own text at http://wordle.net/create :) By way of Bear's LJ.

Hope we get to play tonight. This is, of course, the only night with predicted rain. Lovely.

Milestone

This was a nice letter to find in my work mailbox...

"Dear Jennifer:

Congratulations! You have reached a milestone in your career with Washington University School of Medicine. It is with sincere appreciation for your 5 years of continued service and dedication that I write to recognize your efforts..."

Five years. Don't they go by in a blink.*

Only two years until my kids can go to WU for free, haha. Hopefully in two years I'll have a book or two with an agent...

*name that movie ;)
