Yeah, so I didn’t get into Wash U. Doesn’t that sound funny? I mean grad school of course. I got a letter in the mail that was from the BME department and it was just too thin to be anything good. I knew then that I didn’t get it. I just love those letters that start out “We regret to inform you that you have not been accepted to the…” blah. Bad news but not totally unexpected. Well, that’s 2 rejections and 3 unknowns. Here’s hoping I get in somewhere.
I’ve got to talk to two people next week about joining their lab for a summer rotation. I just realized I have to meet them the same day as my biomech class. God I hate that class. It should be so much easier than it is. And the homework takes so damn long to do, it’s almost enough to make you want to drop the class.
I’ve gotten an A and a B on my Physics of the Heart class so hopefully my homework grades will keep me up in the A range. That and the last test. It’s kind of ironic that the last test, while on the last day of school, is on the day that we will leave for outdoor conference (we get to go to Atlanta, yay) and the second test was the day after we left for indoor conference. Kind of weird.
Was that rambling? I think it was. Maybe more later.
