Etoiline (12:23 AM): and we were taking a break by the machine and I noticed that the readout said 38.25. I thought, wow that’s weird and i pointed it out.
Etoiline (12:24 AM): Noah (one of my design group partners)
Etoiline (12:24 AM): started pressing the change return button
Etoiline (12:24 AM): he didn’t really think anything would happen
Etoiline (12:24 AM): and suddenly it started giving back all 38.25
Etoiline (12:24 AM): !!!!
Etoiline (12:24 AM): first in quarters
Etoiline (12:24 AM): then in dimes
Etoiline (12:24 AM): then in nickels
Aratlithiel (12:25 AM): eek
Aratlithiel (12:25 AM): really?
Etoiline (12:25 AM): until there was no change left in the machine
Etoiline (12:25 AM): it just kept clicking until it would have given out all of it
Etoiline (12:25 AM): and everyone started gathering around
Etoiline (12:25 AM): it was hilarious!

Aratlithiel (12:25 AM): who kept the money?

Etoiline (12:25 AM): well, I did get a free soda out of it
Etoiline (12:26 AM): we grabbed the change from the slot so it wouldn’t get clogged and put it on top of the machine
Etoiline (12:26 AM): it was of course all gone when we came back from lunch
Etoiline (12:26 AM): we couldn’t stop laughing

Etoiline (12:27 AM): cause who would a) put $40 into a vending machine in the first place, and/or b) then forget it?
