I had a really weird dream last night. I remember dreaming that I wouldn’t remember it this morning, which is true, sort of. I don’t remember all of it.
I do remember that I was back at my high school, and that I had ridden a school bus to get there and I was sitting next to a friend and we were talking. The bus was really loud, and I’m sure there was other stuff going on… but I don’t remember.
The high school had really changed, they’d built this entire new technology wing. I remember seeing they had two scanners, one specially designed for slides (I have no idea why I thought that was so cool). and then everyone was running around with costumes on, like roman togas and stuff. I realized I had on this white fluttery costume kind of like you see on statues of Diana. Rather short. Parts of the shirt were tucked into the skirt, so I pulled them out and went running along the hallways. Where I promptly ran into a full service restaurant and bar. I mean, I even saw the food. And everyone sat down and ordered something but I didn’t. So I went up to the bar to get something, where the bartender was filling pizza orders, and suddenly this showchoir group came in and started dancing on the tables. Vaguely familiar, as if I’d seen their show before. And there was this tub of ice water by the buffet table, and a couple of the dancers jumped in a certain point in the show. That’s about when I thought I wouldn’t remember the dream, and shortly after that my alarm went off and scared the bejeezus out of me. I went to the bathroom and went back to bed, setting my alarm for 15 minutes, or so I thought. My dad came in 20 minutes later wanting to know if I was up. Sigh.
I know, I’m weird. Anyone want to try to analyze that?
On the bright side, I finally thought up a name for one of my prophesy characters. Myrhysa Eventually I’ll actually get to writing her part. Some of it is written. There is even interaction between her and Faldor. Of course, you don’t know who Faldor is, do you? One day I’ll get to write it all down….
