I am a warrior elf

1. How to you get motivated to do something you really hate to do? Think of what I’ll be able to do once I get it done. Or just mope through it.

2. Have you ever been hypnotized? Do you think it can really be done or is it a mind trick? I am apparently one of the ones who is not easily susceptible to hypnotism. It’s never worked for me. I find it hard to believe that it’s just a trick because I’ve seen so many people do things so unlike them, but I am skeptical…course, I’m skeptic about most things, so that’s not unusual…

3. Bride Magazine says that the average bill for a wedding is $22,000. No, I didn’t misplace a comma, that is twenty-two THOUSAND! That sounds insane to me. I’d rather elope and put that money into a house. Or a honeymoon. If you are married, how much did your wedding cost? Was it worth it? (the cost of the wedding, not the marriage, heh) If you aren’t, how much do you think should be spent on a wedding? I hope my wedding doesn’t cost that much, but knowing the perfectionism that runs rampant in this family it will likely be so. I want a simple dress and the wedding party will most likely be small unless I marry a guy with a large family. And it’s not like I have very many friends to fill up the church, so the dinner will be easy…maybe I’ll make more friends by then, lol.

4. If you are a Realtor, I mean no offense, but these folks strike me as very sneaky. Many of the houses I’ve looked at have a sign up in the yard, but it has been sold for some time. Sure some are under contract, but why not slap a “SOLD!” sign up there? No, I the Realtor wants you to call anyway so they can snag you as a lead. Have you ever looked for or bought a house? Was it fun? What is the most frustrating part of the process (looking, buying, all areas)? Never looked…although this week I may look for an apartment with a friend. Hopefully we’ll find one that’s cheap yet cool and presentable…one can dream…

5. Do you have a quiet place where you can go and be alone? What’s it like? Would you share it with someone or is it just yours? Mainly I just retreat to my room. I can’t lock it, which is sometimes a pain, but usually no one bothers me. And I’m alone in my “office” when I’m not busy, so I get plenty of time to myself. Of course, I wouldn’t call the room quiet, what with the freezers humming all the time, but hey, you take what you can get.

6. Summer is almost over, did you get to take a vacation yet? Sort of. I went to California for Comic-Con…but it was on the stressful side instead of a vacation. Needed to be longer than five days. I miss summer vacation.

7. Do you like playing video games? What game system do you like the most (any era) or do you prefer board games? Given the fact that I was the only child but a girl, I never had a game system growing up…nor a computer, therefore I still can’t play video games. Probably a good thing given my penchant for procrastination. I’d like to get a PS2 for the Lord of the Rings games. Course, it would be funny to see my just die every time because I don’t know what I’m doing…but those board games were pretty good. You gotta love Clue.

BONUS: Can he do the things that I do? What do you do? I don’t know.
