I got an email the other day from the wB promoting that week’s shows, and one of the ads off to the side was for Sheryl Crow’s ‘best of’ album. The featured song on the ad was ‘I Shall Believe’ …used on One Tree Hill. But that’s *not* where it was originally used on the wB…Roswell had it first, during the episode we all know and love: End of the World. So it made me a little sad and peeved that they couldn’t promote that instead. Ah well.

And another reason to be pissed at the wB: they’re cancelling Angel after this year, the fifth season. So that means next year the only reason I will turn on channel 11 is for Smallville. Stupid wB. I don’t understand why they think they need to cancel shows like this with such a devoted following…but I guess they just want the dvd sales to peak. One of these days I will indeed buy the boxed sets for Buffy and Angel and Roswell…one of these days.
