I have come to the conclusion that I need more festive socks.
For the first time, I’m hosting Christmas Eve dinner, and I’m getting excited about the menu. And my gifts for people are AWESOME. Cranberry ham, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans…and far too many desserts.
Man, the restaurants around the bus stop are pumping out the good smells. So unfair! Then a bus comes by and exhaust fumes overwhelm all else.

Two guys who got on the Metrolink this morning just as the doors closed smelled VERY strongly of pot, and not the good kind, either. The one guy works for McDonald’s–sure hope I never visit that location!
