Etoiline: still trying to apply to grad schools
Etoiline: took the GRE and did very well
Etoiline: or did I tell you that already?
DixieChicken2002: nope, didn’t know that
DixieChicken2002: see, you’re so smart
Etoiline: yeah well, not quite as smart as some other people
Etoiline: but the GRE proved that I am a math impaired engineer
DixieChicken2002: so? there will always be someone better or smarter (and that’s true of everyone) – you are fabulous in your own right
DixieChicken2002: riiiiiight
DixieChicken2002: math impaired engineer is like a fat model
DixieChicken2002: it doesn’t exist
Etoiline: I got a 720 on the verbal (97 percentile) and 700 analytical (85 percentile) but a 610 on math (53 percentile
Etoiline: it does
DixieChicken2002: nuh-uh!
Etoiline: I scored about 100 points below the average math score for engineers
Etoiline: sigh
Etoiline: whatever
Etoiline: I hopefully won’t be doing the math
Etoiline: just the design
DixieChicken2002: see, the analytical is very important – and unlike other engineers, you will be able to communicate your findings (given your 97th %’ile on the verbal) where the other ones will be stuck with their tounges tied
DixieChicken2002: they will sit there with all the information in the world and not know how to communicate it effectively – and meanwhile, you will be getting their job offers
DixieChicken2002: HA HA! Jennifer is right! Listen to me!!!!!
DixieChicken2002: oh, dear – I scare myself sometimes – but I stand by everything else I’ve said except for that last thing with the haha.
Etoiline: you are too funny
I love Jenn 2. I wish she was here.
You are so nice to me and you make my ego helplessly big.
