Haha, guess what I did? I got MVP of the UAA indoor conference meet. I got two golds 🙂 all by myself, in the 55 m dash and the 200 m dash, rock on me. And a silver in the 4×4 (I was second leg) and 4th in the 55 hurdles. Oh well on the hurdles, I didn’t do horribly.

And the Lady Bears rocked the world with 180 points versus the second place finishers. . . whoever they were, they only had 88 (or something) points. . . ha. We rule. I heard that had we only had the jumpers compete (the three ladies happened to sweep 1-2-3 both the long and triple jumps) we would have gotten second place. Wow.

I only got to stand on the awards stand once, for the 200 m. They announced the 55 hurdle awards while I was getting ready to run the 55 dash. . . and the 55 dash while I was getting ready to run the 200. . . and the 4×4 while I was in the shower. Which was, incidentally, where I was when they announced that I had gotten MVP. How ironic is that? I can’t believe I missed getting my award. I had no idea that they would pick me! I didn’t think I had done so well, not compared to other people, but I guess so. . .

Wow. That was my last college indoor meet. Guess it was a good way to go out, huh?

Great first indoor season, Coaches Rubin and Stiles, who got Coaching Staff of the year.

Basically, we rule. Rock on Bears!

Still reading? Wow. Why don’t you comment?
