1. What is your lineage? Where are your ancestors from?Chinese (Cantonese)/English/Irish/French/Scot-Irish and a teensy bit of Cherokee Indian.
2. Of those countries, which would you most like to visit?China. I’ve never seen the Pacific Ocean, either.
3. Which would you least like to visit? Why?China, cause I’d want to learn Chinese first. And not mandarin, but cantonese. Sigh. One day.
4. Do you do anything during the year to celebrate or recognize your heritage? Sometimes we celebrate Chinese New Year, my dad makes his world-famous egg rolls and crab rangoon… and we’ve been known to celebrate Mardi Gras from time to time.
5. Who were the first ancestors to move to your present country (parents, grandparents, etc)?Well, on my dad’s side, my grandparents came over from Hong Kong. On my mother’s side, I believe it was back in the 1700’s when we were the wrong religion in France or England. My grandmother would know, she has amazing geneology records for my mom’s side of the family.
