1. Real or artificial tree? Real, of course! Besides we get a return shopper discount at the tree farm.
2. Real or artificial wreath? Artificial because a real one would wither in the cold!
3. Open gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (or do you do another holiday such as Hannukkah)? Christmas Day, except with presents from my cousin’s family, we have a party on Christmas Eve and open them then.
4. “It’s A Wonderful Life” or “Miracle on 34th Street”? Miracle on 34th Street. Sweeter.
5. Outdoor decorations, or just indoors? Outdoor lights, indoor craziness.
6. “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” or “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer”? Rudolph if we’re singing the interactive version (you know, “like a light bulb”) or Santa Claus if we’re caroling.
7. Miniature lights or the larger ones? Mini lights.
8. Store-bought or hand-made ornaments? Store-bought because I’m not a kid anymore. Sadly.
9. TV Specials: The Grinch or Charlie Brown? Just saw Charlie Brown. I haven’t seen the Grinch for a while so I’d have to wait and compare.
10. Will you be staying at home for the holiday, or going visiting? Staying, because all my relatives live in town, thank goodness. (Except for my grandparents. It would be great to see them but difficult to get down there. And my cousins down in Joplin but I think they’re coming up this year..yay!)
