That’s all right my dear. I was too busy being lazy last night. *lol* Shame on me. Nah, I was reading through my friend’s fanfic. Another Orlando fanfic. It never stops. 😉
I hope I catch you tonight. 🙂

So I tried to start sewing the cloak last night. We brought up the portable sewing machine (which is a bit of an oxymoron, being that if you actually tried to port that thing anywhere you’d probably end up with a hernia) but we had to wind a new bobbin for the thread, which turned out to be wound the wrong way, then the machine decided to not work. So made for a rather frustrating night. My mom said that the machine had done that twice before, once the night before halloween when she was trying to make a costume for me, and once before my aunt’s wedding when she was trying to fix my flower girl dress. So, I suppose it’s good that I have a year to do this thing. Hopefully it will work tonight. Sigh. If it doesn’t, there is another portable sewing machine, and if all else fails we use the super-duper machine in the art room. Sigh. I wouldn’t be able to watch tv back there, at least not for now.
I think we’re taking the dvd/vcr/tv back, it’s not quite what we want. But doing that will be a pain. Grr. Although when we do we’d be able to move the dvd/vcr player from room to room so I can watch LotR whenever I want! Yay! lol.
I wrote more of my Roswell fic last night. Man, it would be so good if I could only finish it! Came up with another idea for my novel too. Too bad I’m not independently wealthy so I can’t just do nothing but write it. Although I know if I did that I would be bored out of my mind. I suppose it will work out somehow. I really want to put up an excerpt of the new stuff to see if you guys like it, but that would mean I’d have to transfer it from the laptop, blah blah. Someday grasshopper.
Lunchtime!
Lammster, sorry I missed you. I was attempting to sew all last night, (I’ll tell ya in the other blog) and watching Blame it on Rio. Very funny movie 🙂

A farmer got pulled over by a state trooper for speeding, and the trooper started to lecture the farmer about his speed, and in general began to throw his weight around to try to make the farmer uncomfortable. Finally, the trooper got around to writing out the ticket, and as he was doing that he kept swatting at some flies that were buzzing around his head. The farmer said, “Having some problems with circle flies there, are ya?”
The trooper stopped writing the ticket and said–“Well yeah, if that’s what they are–I never heard of circle flies”. So the farmer says–“Well, circle flies are common on farms. See, they’re called circle flies because they’re almost always found circling around the back end of a horse.”
The trooper says, “Oh,” and goes back to writing the ticket. Then after a minute he stops and says, “Hey…wait a minute, are you trying to call me a horses ass?”
The farmer says, “Oh no, officer. I have too much respect for law enforcement and police officers to even think about calling you a horses ass.”
The trooper says, “Well, that’s a good thing,” and goes back to writing the ticket.
After a long pause, the farmer says, “Hard to fool them flies though.”
Now that you’ve seen the latest edition of the Two Towers preview:
What are you most looking forward to in The Two Towers? More Legolas. Helm’s Deep sequence.
Which character (new or continuing) do you particularly want to see in a
prominent role? You have to ask? Legolas. Also, Eowyn looks interesting.
Have you heard anything that makes you think you might have a problem with
the film? Unless you count having to wait till December, no… I mean, the Helm’s Deep sequence is supposed to be 50 minutes long! Whoohoo!
I do so hope someone will watch it with me on opening night. I don’t want to go alone.
