Sorry , they’re so late, folks… the Monday Mission was supposed to be the last one of 2002, and instead it will be my first of 2003…and I’m just late on the This or That. I haven’t been able to get online at work where I usually type these up. Maybe our internet will be back tomorrow! *crosses fingers*

PromoGuy’s Monday Mission 2.52

1. Which Blog post of yours was one of your favorites of 2002? Hmm. Possibly the ‘Holy Shit!’ entry at the other blog…when I found out I got into UPenn…or the ‘I HAVE SEEN IT!’ (also in the other blog) after seeing the midnight premiere of TTT 🙂 I don’t know, haven’t been reading my archives.

2. Were there any “old acquaintances” that should be forgot this year? DT.

3. Did you finish what you started last week? Some of it.

4. Will you be doing anything to celebrate “New Year’s Eve?” Any traditional food or drinks you associate with “New Year’s?” We celebrated at home. Some family and friends came over. We toast with Asti every year (or sparkling grape juice for those underage…)

5. What was the coolest present you got this year? Probably the Graphire drawing tablet. Now I can draw directly on the comp 🙂

6. The day after Christmas, around 3pm, I drove by a car where the driver and his passenger were each drinking a beer; there was no mistake about it. I was shocked, because I’d never seen anyone actually do this. And wasn’t sure what I should do about it. What would you do in the same situation? I’ve never seen that either. I’d be scared and drive away as quickly as I can. I don’t think I’d report it, esp. since I don’t have a cell phone, but I’d get away as soon as I could.

7. Have you ever driven a car while drinking alcohol? Ever driven drunk or known anyone who has? How’d that turn out? No. And no.

Bonus: Why’d you have to go and make things so complicated? Cause that’s the way life is.

and the This or That

1. Stay in or go out on New Year’s Eve? Stay in. Too expensive to go out, and besides, I’d rather be drunk at home (not that I’d be drunk anyway, but you get the idea)

2. If you stay home, do you stay up to ring in the new year, or fall asleep earlier? Stay up, of course! Then sleep till noon, or later (like today 😉 )

3. If you go out, do you prefer to attend a party at someone’s home, or go to a bar/nightclub/restaurant? Party at someone’s home.

4. Make resolutions, or do you not bother? I don’t usually think about it. I don’t believe I’ve ever kept a resolution, and I rarely made one anyway…

5. Ever been to Times Square (New York City) on New Year’s Eve, or just watched the ball drop on TV? Just watched the ball drop. a) too far away and b) too crowded!

6. Toast the New Year with champagne or a soft drink? I’m legal, but we never had champagne. Asti all the way! And we almost always toasted with something alcoholic, even when us kids were little. It’s not like a sip from the glass will make you drunk! All in fun 🙂

7. Do you have a special New Year’s dinner or not? Not really. Just cool finger food.

8. Do you already have your 2003 calendar, or do you wait to buy one until the stores mark them down? I got a TTT calendar for christmas. Usually I get one as a gift, or just wait till they’re cheaper.

9. Take down Christmas decorations: before or after New Year’s? After.

10. Funny hats and noisemakers, or a quieter celebration? Noisy! It’s more fun that way 🙂
