PromoGuy’s Monday Mission 3.2
1. Have you ever bought something you were so excited about and found out later that it didn’t work? Were you able to return it? How did it go? I do that alot, actually, but I don’t usually return it just because it’s not exciting. Course, it’s more with books than with actual machinery or something like that, and I slowly but squirrelly am getting rid of books I don’t read. But if something mechanical doesn’t work and my mom learns about it it usually goes back 🙂
2. I have a Palm (Pilot) for my date book and such, but have been thinking of jumping to the PocketPC world at some point. Do you have a PDA (personal digital assistant)? What kind, and how did you decide? What do you like about it? If you don’t own one, do you want one or do you do better without such gadgets? I used to have one of those electronic address/calendar things that was $5 when I was in high school. Then I just went back to the paper planner cause it made more sense to carry around something that wouldn’t matter if it got lost, and the little thing was such a pain to use that it eventually stopped getting used.
3. What illness do you wind up catching more than any other? Allergies. I’m not usually *sick* sick, just the occasional sniffle. I do get flus if there’s a bad one going around.
4. Do you like going to see the Doctor (any type)? Eh. Sometimes it’s good to know what’s going on, but all things considered I’d rather not have to go. It takes time out of work and you have to know what’s wrong with you cause you’re never going to exhibit any symptoms in front of the doctor.
5. How about the Dentist? Do you like going? Do you go in every 6 months for a check-up? Gaah. I went to the dentist this morning and they cleaned the hell out of my teeth. My mouth is still sore. I don’t like the dentist all that much, not cause I’m scared, but cause it takes so long and it hurts.
6. Are you a “Dog Person” or a “Cat Person?” Do you think a person’s choice tells you something about their personality? I’m a cat person, and that probably says something about me, but I don’t know what it is. Course, if I could, I’d chose a mountain lion as a pet, so that probably tells you something else. Think whatever you like.
7. I’ve mentioned before how me and a buddy of mine have just let our friendship lapse. There was no disagreement, but we’ve hit that point where we have nothing in common anymore. My life has progressed and he is still living in 1992. Have you ever had a friendship that just seems to have run its course? Where there is just nothing there anymore? What finally happened? Well, most of the “friends” that I had in high school sort of dumped me when I dumped them for Chris, who then dumped me…and you see where the rapid decline in self-esteem came from. I don’t know what it is, I guess I’m just not one of those people who makes friends easily. It’s sad that I have so few friends. Scratch that, real-life friends. I have plenty of online friends. That only presents a problem when you’re bored on a Friday night and don’t want to go out by yourself. (Alex, you don’t have to point out anything there.) Eh. I haven’t really answered the question and I don’t know if I will. Friends are sort of a sore spot for me.
BONUS: Do you want to see me beggin’ baby? Can’t you give me just one more day?
Damn, if only I had a boy beggin me for anything.
