PromoGuy’s Monday Mission 3.03
- Friday I wrote about “People I Can Do Without.” How about adding to the list with a few people you can live without?
- Have you ever felt like someone truly respected you? What does being respected mean to you personally?
- In (past or current) relationships, what is the “one thing” your partner would change about you if they could?
- Have you ever tried to change who you are to please someone? How did that turn out?
- Do you believe in love at first sight? Can it really happen?*
* Question courtesy of Fadi - Today is “Martin Luther King Jr. Day” in the United States. King’s non-violent protests against unequal treatment of African-American people led to radical change in America, and ultimately, his assassination in 1968. How have Rev. King’s accomplishments impacted or influenced your life?
- In America, our President declared yesterday to be “National Sanctity of Life Day.” While it enacts no change in policy or program, it does allow our country’s leader to make a declarative statement about abortion. How do you feel when you hear about a government taking a position such as this?
I don’t have anyone right now. I’d rather have someone to live with. No enemies, but no boyfriends either…
I think some people on the track team respected me. Some people in high school respected me. I hope someone out there respects what I can do with websites. We’ll see if someone respects it enough to give me a job.
Well, all of my relationships are past, so I’d have to say I’d have changed one from a flirt/jerk to a nice guy, one to slightly more mainstream, and another into less of a jerk later in the relationship. Whatever. I need a new man.
Well, somewhat. I used to hate lightning. One of the guys changed that. He also made me appreciate the high school mascot.
I think it can happen. I’ve never done it, but it is such a nice concept, don’t you think?
I’d have to say not much, unfortunately. Just gives me a day off, which is nice. Opens your mind. Gave the world a hell of a good quote. I have a dream…
Personally I think this is a little silly. I don’t think the government should dictate how women deal with their bodies, and I know what horrible things are going to happen if Roe v Wade is overturned cause a Supreme Court justice retires and Bush appoints a conservative white male who is pro-life. Now, nothing against the pro-lifers, but I’d like to have the choice. A woman ought to be able to what she wants to do without having the government look over her shoulder.
We were talking about that last night, how our family is very liberal. This is odd because none of my grandparents are/were liberal. Where did it come from? Not that I’m complaining, lol. I’m happy being a democrat.
