whats the name of the girl Orlando is supposedly dating? and do you agree its just a rumor?~hoping in New York
yay, someone actually used the ‘ask me anything function! lol. Anyway. The answer to your question is Kate Bosworth, one of the actresses in the movie Blue Crush, which I haven’t seen. It might be a rumor, it might not…some reputable magazines have reported them together but still others restate his claim that he doesn’t have time for anyone. Personally I don’t really care if Orlando is going out with anyone anyway, because a) it’s highly unlikely that I’ll ever meet him and b) also highly unlikely that he’d like me anyway because he prefers blonds, so I will go ahead and have my crush on him anyway and ignore those silly little caveats.
Bonnie has a new layout
I really need to make a new one! Probably after Comic-Con. I swear I have a great idea, really. It’s just getting around to doing it…ah, procrastination.

Another countdown
StandardEeeggghhh! Six days! Pirates in six days! Arrr!
Why can’t I buy tickets yet?
Underworld looks exciting, yes? Doesn’t it sound a lot like Decadence? I swear I started writing that before I ever knew there was such a movie…
I painted the peacock on the quiver last night…now I have to figure out the strapping! I have slightly yellow-tinged fingers on my left hand from spilling the leather dye…and there’s probably a patch of dead grass from same…but at least I got the belts dyed without too much other damage…Majorly confusing strappage. What I wouldn’t give for a digital camera. I really would post pics of my progress, but I’m too lazy to do it with a conventional camera. Besides, our scanner is too old to be hooked up to the iMac so we can’t scan anything anyway. Doesn’t that suck? We’ll probably have to get a new scanner, even though the old one wasn’t inexpensive…course, that was five years ago, but it’s still expensive to my dad.
Mmm. Back to data entry. Silly DSL kit…my EIA isn’t working! Don’t mind that last sentence…if it made sense to you, you’re a science nerd like me ![]()
Six days!
Go Me! Er. Thanks to you, of course.
StandardI finally made it to 1000 for the Diamond Web Awards. Just thought you’d like to know. And feel free to increase that number
Oh yeah, don’t forget to hit the other vote link at the bottom of the post!
It really sucks when you don’t write something down cause it seems so obvious to you when you wrote it down…then three weeks later you have no idea why you didn’t write it down, cause it’s been too long since you did the procedure…rats. But no worries. Got it all good.
Costume update: Aside from my analness, I’m done with the clothing for the costume. Now it’s the props that are going to kill me…but as I’ve said before, I live for deadlines. Er. Yeah.
Since the last Pirates picture was so well received I had to go get some more…for your droolworthy pleasure (unless you’re a guy, and then, I’m sorry, but hey, you get Keira Knightley!) I’m very excited about this! 7 days! whoohoo ![]()

This-or-That, July 1: Summer Fun!:
1. Lemonade or Ice Cold Beer? Lemonade, of course. Beer sucks.
2. Swimming pool or beach? Pool, as I don’t really live near a beach…anyone who goes swimming in the Mississippi is asking for it. Maybe the Gasconade, near my grandparents’ house…
3. Long weekends here & there, or a 2-week vacation? Depends on if I’m going anywhere for the 2 weeks. Usually I’m satisfied with the long weekends.
4. Destination: Acapulco or Hawaii? Hawaii. Then Acapulco
5. Destination: Mountains or Beach? Mountains.
6. Hotel/motel/B&B or camping? Camping.
7. Carefully planned vacation, or play it by ear? Mostly planned with a few opportunities for spontenaeity.
8. Sneakers or sandals? Sneakers.
9. Air-conditioning or fans? Fans.
10. Concerts in the park or baseball games? Concerts. Whenever I go to a game my team loses.
Monday Mission 3.26
When was the last time you said or were told the following, and more importantly, how did it feel to be you at that moment:
1. “It’s not you, it’s me.” Probably when talking to my mother. I hate it when I say that cause it usually means I’m in the wrong.
2. “I love you, but I’m not in love with you.” eeeggg. Alex’s party. ew. guilty, sad, pissed off.
3. “You just don’t get it!” More often, it’s “I just don’t get it…” again, when I’m talking to my parents. Or, embarassingly, when I’m talking to my boss(es).
4. “Do I look fat…” When I got my drivers license renewed last week (for NINE years! Sheesh. I’m gonna be nearly thirty….)
5. “I hate you!” I tend not to say that, cause it sounds so final. I say “I hate this,” or “I hate that we…” etc.
6. “If you really loved me…” My mom is the one who says that. I hate (see?) laying guilt trips on people, or having them on me. I usually fold. Not too strong of a will to resist, I guess.
7. “Not tonight…” Almost every Tuesday when Alex asks me to go to Tuner’s, the kareoke bar in ST. CHARLES…there have to be bars closer to home that have kareoke! Any ideas, please let me know…
BONUS: If we can solve any problem, then why do we lose so many tears? It’s a release. Yeah, right.
A Love Story
StandardOnce upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived; Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all the others, including Love.
One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all repaired their boats and left.
Love wanted to persevere until the last possible moment. When the island was almost sinking, Love decided to ask for help. Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said “Richness, can you take me with you?” Richness answered, “No, I can’t. There is a lot of silver in my boat. There is no place here for you.”
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. “Vanity, please help me!” “I can’t help you Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat,” Vanity answered.
Sadness was close by so Love asked for help, “Sadness, let me go with you.” “Oh….Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself.”
Happiness passed by Love too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her!
Suddenly there was a voice, “Come Love, I will take you.” It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that he even forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went his own way.
Love realizing how much he owed the elder, asked Knowledge, another elder. “Who helped me?” “It was Time,” Knowledge answered. “Time?” asked Love. “But why did Time help me?” Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, “Because, only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is.”

bumper car
Standardbut first, time for something completely different:
So the car was theoretically supposed to be finished today. All clean and spiffy and still looking used, but with a working trunk and bumper. Of course, they had just gotten in a few of the parts this morning, so of course it wasn’t ready yet. Ah well. I didn’t want to drive today anyway. It’s funny cause the original part they got in was for the slightly later version of the car with taillights across the trunk. Except for that the two models are exactly alike, so it’s easy to see how they made the mistake, but sheesh. We got to see the almost finished car without back trunk panel or bumper, and let me tell you, that’s an odd looking car. At least they were able to re-use the taillights. Still amazes me that the lights didn’t break. Small favors I suppose.

I do not like that I have to chose which blog to post to with BlogThis!. I don’t want to accidentally post to Punzie’s blog, which happens to be above mine in the list, because of a tilde. And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, it matters not. I just thought I’d vent.
