Do you look on the bright side of things? If you don’t, the sun soaked days of summer should give your spirits an added lift. Studies show that sunlight can brighten your mood and benefit your health. Sure, it may sound cliche, but a sunny disposition really can make a difference in your life.
So what can you do to start looking on the bright side? Besides catching some rays, you can also try adjusting your way of seeing things. When a situation doesn’t turn out as you’d expected, try to see the upside as opposed to the drawbacks. Let’s say a movie you want to see is sold out. Instead of getting upset that you can’t see that movie, think of it as an opportunity to see a different film you might not have seen otherwise. If you don’t get that job offer, believe that something better will come along. If your date doesn’t go well, maybe you’ll meet someone you’re more compatible with the next day.
It’ll take some active effort on your part to see the positive, but when you do, you’ll be a happier, more satisfied person. So do your best to see the benefits instead of the drawbacks, and you’ll find yourself feeling a whole lot sunnier!

1. Surf sites at random, or have a set list of regular reads? Some regular, some ethel…I don’t “surf” all that often, but when I do, I usually end up staying at a site longer than I expected.

2. Do you visit mostly blogs, or news or other sites? Sites dedicated to Orlando are high on my list…some of them happen to be blogs.

3. Do you go online every day, or just a couple of days a week? Everyday, if I can make it. Otherwise my email accounts get full of spam.

4. Do you allow comments on your blog, or not? Please comment. I love to hear what people have to say.

5. Do you shop online at all, or at regular stores? Amazon is a good thing.

6. Have you ever done online bill-paying/banking, or not? Just balance checking, really.

7. Which news site do you prefer… MSNBC.com or CNN.com? Or do you prefer some other one? I don’t visit alot of news sites…sort of like I don’t watch the evening news.

8. Live chat rooms, or message boards? Message boards, cause you can post pictures!

9. Instant messaging or e-mail? IMing…seems more like talking.

10. Yes or no: have you ever met, or at least talked on the phone with, another blogger? If not, would you want to? Why or why not? Phone, yes, meeting, not yet. Looking forward to Comic-Con though, where I’ll meet Lammy. Coolness!

Sigh. Blogger’s doing wacky things with itself. Why oh why do you have to change what doesn’t seem broken? I know, I know, anal programming geeks.
