And just to show off:

This or That

1. Super Bowl or World Series? Super Bowl. Not because I like football, but because it’s easier to have a Super Bowl party than a World Series party.

2. Winter or summer? Summer.

3. Look up numbers in the phone book, or call directory assistance Phone book. Why would you pay if you can do it yourself? Or look online?

4. Mashed potatoes or French fries? Usually mashed. But sometimes you just can’t beat a good fry.

5. Hand-code your website, or use an editor (such as Front Page) Dreamweaver. Best of both worlds.

6. Freeway or winding country road? Country road, as long as it isn’t gravelly like the one down to Grandma and Grandpa’s…

7. Star Wars or Star Trek Star Wars. I used to have a thing for Luke.

8. Disney or Warner Brothers cartoons? Disney.

9. When it feels chilly in the house: crank up the heat or put on a sweater? Sweater/sweatshirt/fleece. It’s always cold in the house.

10. CBS or PBS? Umm. CBS, because they have CSI…

PromoGuy’s Monday Mission 3.03

  1. Friday I wrote about “People I Can Do Without.” How about adding to the list with a few people you can live without?
  2. I don’t have anyone right now. I’d rather have someone to live with. No enemies, but no boyfriends either…

  3. Have you ever felt like someone truly respected you? What does being respected mean to you personally?
  4. I think some people on the track team respected me. Some people in high school respected me. I hope someone out there respects what I can do with websites. We’ll see if someone respects it enough to give me a job.

  5. In (past or current) relationships, what is the “one thing” your partner would change about you if they could?
  6. Well, all of my relationships are past, so I’d have to say I’d have changed one from a flirt/jerk to a nice guy, one to slightly more mainstream, and another into less of a jerk later in the relationship. Whatever. I need a new man.

  7. Have you ever tried to change who you are to please someone? How did that turn out?
  8. Well, somewhat. I used to hate lightning. One of the guys changed that. He also made me appreciate the high school mascot.

  9. Do you believe in love at first sight? Can it really happen?*
    * Question courtesy of Fadi
  10. I think it can happen. I’ve never done it, but it is such a nice concept, don’t you think?

  11. Today is “Martin Luther King Jr. Day” in the United States. King’s non-violent protests against unequal treatment of African-American people led to radical change in America, and ultimately, his assassination in 1968. How have Rev. King’s accomplishments impacted or influenced your life?
  12. I’d have to say not much, unfortunately. Just gives me a day off, which is nice. Opens your mind. Gave the world a hell of a good quote. I have a dream…

  13. In America, our President declared yesterday to be “National Sanctity of Life Day.” While it enacts no change in policy or program, it does allow our country’s leader to make a declarative statement about abortion. How do you feel when you hear about a government taking a position such as this?
  14. Personally I think this is a little silly. I don’t think the government should dictate how women deal with their bodies, and I know what horrible things are going to happen if Roe v Wade is overturned cause a Supreme Court justice retires and Bush appoints a conservative white male who is pro-life. Now, nothing against the pro-lifers, but I’d like to have the choice. A woman ought to be able to what she wants to do without having the government look over her shoulder.

We were talking about that last night, how our family is very liberal. This is odd because none of my grandparents are/were liberal. Where did it come from? Not that I’m complaining, lol. I’m happy being a democrat.

I made a couple of buttons last night and actually got them uploaded. Also moved some old buttons in so they’re all in one place. I’ll make a permanent place for these sometime, I promise. And it will even have a swanky background and such, but for now you’ll have to deal with just the names. Enjoy, and swipe ’em!

And the exchange should work better now. I just have to change the code page and work out a few little weird things.

Lookie, lookie! I won something!

Breah from The Wizard’s Quest gave me Site of the Week!

Thank you Breah! Glad you had a good time here wink
So I’m working on the Aspire Exchange trying to make the code easier. Lose a little functionality but only one thing to paste. Please join if you’ve got a site, eh?
TTT didn’t win any GG’s. I didn’t entirely expect it to. I feel sorry for Sean Astin, having to sit through all of that with just clapping to do. Ah well. Here’s hoping for Oscars…*fingers crossed*
I thought about…the Army… Needing a job here, I am…
