it’s rather beautiful here tonight. I can hear the crickets outside over the rush of the air conditioning. And Dave Matthews on the radio. makes me a little lonely.
Mom insisted that I go to this young alumni thing after work. It was alright, I had a drink and talked to some other new engineering graduates, (I think I should have known them, but oh well. I realize I spent a lot of time buried in a fantasy novel.) but I got there with only an hour left, and they pretty much all left when it was 8 oclock. ah to have friends.
Gaah. how pathetic.
Just saw Keeping the Faith, though. A sweet movie. I laughed quite a bit, I needed to do that.
am queen of picking colonies. picked 3 plates in two and a half hours. course, plates not full size. will have to find new job in a month. still haven’t gone camping.
