Friday Five (.org)
1. How long have you had a weblog? *consults blog archives* since November 20, 2001. I remember how excited I was when I realized I could have a site that was updated everyday (or something like that) with rather little effort on my part. I had to look long and hard before I dound something that would do that though!
2. What was your first post about?“Whoa, this is cool ” and the other four messages in the same vein. Then after going to sleep at 3 am before thanksgiving break, I griped that my asp forum wasn’t working and how I had to write a electromagnetics paper over break but I got good food.
3. How many changes (name, location, etc.) of your weblog have there been, if more than one? Well, I have two blogs, cause I just couldn’t part with the blogspot one. I really should move it to etoiline.com, or even all over to gm like the one at etoiline.com, but I’m just too lazy. Besides, blogspot is easier to post with.
4. What CMS (content management system) do you use? Do you like it or do you want to try something else? As noted above, I use blogspot for free, and greymatter for etoiline.com. I always wanted greymatter, but until I bought my domain, I didn’t have cgi capability. I like it, but I haven’t even scratched the surface of what’s possible with it.
5. Do you read people who have both a journal and a weblog? Or do you prefer to read people who have all of their writing in one central place? umm, well, I don’t really care. I don’t think I’d read just a list of links, but all text is boring. I think I have a little bit of both.
